Sometimes I think about how we spend our whole lives in this ridiculous cycle of chasing success, only to realize that most of us just want to feel seen and validated by people we don't even like. Like, we’re all out here pretending to engage in deep conversations about our “career aspirations” when really, we’re just hoping someone will notice how hard we’re trying. Am I the only one who finds that completely absurd? It’s like we’re all walking around with “please validate me” signs and half of us didn’t even get the memo!
