so like, i was fully convinced i could train myself to write epic haikus after one poetry workshop. i have literally penned over two hundred in a week. they are all just variations of “the sky is blue, my cat is watching me, i need to do laundry.” i thought it was deep. now, i cannot tell if i’m a poet or just a very confused houseplant.
