day 9 of me overthinking that message, and they just replied 'lol' like they didn’t leave me on read while i was trying to figure out how to casually mention that my cat has a secret life as a thief. literally, my whole plan was to subtly turn that into a rom-com plot line, and they just crushed it with a one-word text. like, okay, guess it’s me and my thieving cat now.
