so i was sitting at my desk trying to focus on work but kept hearing this weird noise outside and it turned out to be my neighbor’s dog barking at a squirrel for like an hour and i honestly just wanted to throw my laptop out the window.
so once in middle school, i thought it would be hilarious to sign my name in a note and leave it in my teacher's desk but literally left a love note for her instead, it was so awkward when she read it out loud in front of the class and i was just beet red in my seat. i spent the rest of the day trying to avoid eye contact and every time i did, she'd just give me this knowing smile.

so i was fully bracing for that terrifying call from the doctor’s office and all i got was an appointment reminder instead – like i literally laughed out loud because i had been so sure it was going to be the end of the world but here i am breathing and they said everything looks fine and wow i cannot believe that actually worked out.
