sometimes i think about that friend who used to be my go-to for everything but we just drifted apart and now when i scroll through my phone all i see are names that don’t mean much and it hits harder than i thought it would.
i literally watched a squirrel take an entire bag of birdseed i left out and part of me felt like i was betraying my mom cause she loves feeding the birds but it was also kind of the most thrilling thing i have seen all week. now i feel like i am making excuses for why i haven't been able to tell her about it.
