Thoughts: sitting in my tiny apartment, folding laundry while my neighbor’s having a house…

yaar, matlab samjho na, went to buy a simple broom and came out with a mop instead, like how does that even happen? अब सब कुछ ठीक है पर घर में सारा दिन झाड़ू करने का मूड नहीं है, seriously, मेरी तो समझ में नहीं आता।

sitting here staring at the old coffee table that i found at a yard sale last summer, i can't believe i spent more on a latte today than i did on that. should have saved it for another night at the thrift store because at least that place makes me feel less like i’m drowning.

sitting in my tiny apartment, folding laundry while my neighbor’s having a housewarming party, and all i can think about is how my best friend just got a promotion and moved to the city, like what even is the point when i feel stuck in this loop of same four walls, same late-night ramen dinners, while scrolling through their instagram highlights of brunches and smiles that seem so far from my reality.

today my local fruit vendor tried to sell me an avocado labeled "non-gmo" and i nearly laughed out loud because what does that even mean when my entire existence is, like, an illegal experiment in being human? like, oh sure, let me just worry about pesticide residue while i dodge the surveillance drones lurking behind the kumquats, ugh, why is everything so absurd?
