turning 40 alone on my studio floor eating cold takeout because everyone cancelled, just realized my birthday cake is the same flavor as my sad life, chocolate fudge. can't tell if i want to cry or laugh about blowing out candles while practicing social distancing from my own hopes and dreams.
so i spent three hours meticulously sorting through a hundred loose screws just to realize i was missing the one i actually needed for a project. my reward for being the handy one is getting a personal tour of frustration city, population: me.
