spent three hours organizing my sock drawer only to find one sock from the last laundry cycle mysteriously missing like it went to a better life, and now i just keep staring at the empty space, wondering if i should maybe just start knitting my own or consider this the universe’s way of telling me to embrace a sockless future...

i was so sure the smell in my kitchen meant a dead rat somewhere but it was just an old onion under the sink. i can't believe how much relief flooded in when i finally found it and realized i wasn't going to have to rip out cabinets or anything crazy, just a little clean up and life goes on.

so once when i was eleven, i spilled grape juice all over my white shirt right before my big presentation and when i told my friend about it, they just asked what i was wearing like that was the most important part, and now i think back on it and laugh because like what a way to distract from the utter humiliation and then of course the shirt ended up being the star of the show not me, sooo...
