i can’t believe the pasta came out perfect, after all those times it turned to mush before, it actually held its shape and even tasted good, and to think i was so stressed about it burning while i tried to follow the recipe, now i’m just sitting here thinking how i might actually be a decent cook after all.

was trying to organize my bookshelf today and ended up just staring at the titles, feeling like a complete stranger to my own collection — how did i forget all these books i loved, like did they even matter if they just sit there now? half of them probably haven't been opened in years but like, what if i missed out on something good?
