i can't believe i actually made that cake from scratch and it turned out amazing, like, really amazing. thought it would be a disaster after that kitchen mess but it was the complete opposite, now i have leftovers to enjoy and i'm just so relieved it worked out.
so i just spent an hour trying to find the last pack of double a batteries for the remote but of course they are all gone. now i have to watch a show with no sound because i refuse to buy more, who needs batteries when you have stubborn pride, right.

woke up today and found a missing sock that used to be my favorite but now all i can think is how i could have bought a coffee with that money if i actually had enough for one. not that it would even matter, the sock's just gonna sit there with the other lost ones but my heart kinda aches for it.
