So I finally decided to take my cooking skills up a notch this weekend and attempted to make a fancy dish I saw on TikTok. Spoiler alert: it didn’t come out looking anything like the video. My "gourmet" chicken ended up looking like it was thrown into a blender and spat out on a plate. But the real kicker? I served it to my friend who was here for dinner, and as they took the first bite, I swear I saw them contemplate their entire life choices. I mean, is it really a dinner party if no one questions their friendship afterward? At this point, I'm convinced my true calling is ordering takeout and enhancing my Uber Eats rating.
