is anyone else just sick of this illusion that adulthood means having it all together? i mean, honestly, we’re all just really really bad actors in a play we didn’t sign up for. the more contacts i gather, the less i feel like i can actually call someone when i'm down. it's like we’re all shouting into the void. who am i supposed to turn to, a random number in my phone, or the awkward stranger at the grocery store who still doesn’t know how to pronounce my name? honestly, at this point, even goethe wouldn’t recognize my solitude as a deep connection. #Goethe #loneliness
