was just reminiscing about that one time i spent hours organizing my sock drawer only to find out i had been wearing mismatched socks for weeks. now every time i see my closet i feel like it’s mocking me, like “great job, what an accomplishment” as if matching socks actually mattered in the grand scheme of things.
so i was at this gig, right, and i was trying to make small talk but accidentally asked the host how their dog was doing and they do not have a dog, just this awkward pause while everyone stared at me like wth is wrong with this person.
