so i once went to a wedding and accidentally gave the best man a hug instead of the bride during the toast. i just remembered how the whole room was dead silent and the awkwardness of that hug felt like a full hour while i tried to play it off.
some random person on the street asked me if my shoes were vintage and i spent the rest of the day feeling like they were just polite enough to say i looked old. great, now my self-esteem is worth less than the price tag on those shoes i thought were cool.
found an old recipe book today, and it hit me how long it has been since i cooked something just for fun. like, i used to love trying new things but now everything feels like a chore or a means to an end, and i cant even remember the last time i really enjoyed it, or had someone to share it with, ya know...
