so i was trying to impress this girl at a party and instead of saying “this drink is great” i literally told her “this drink is literally great” while tripping over my own feet and spilling half of it on her shoes, and she just stared at me like i was a complete idiot.
i literally found an old notebook from high school today and it felt like someone else had written in it, every idea so full of hope and i just miss being that person sometimes. honestly, i wish i could go back and remind myself to be bolder and not hold back on the weird stuff that made me unique.
so today i bought a pineapple because i felt fancy—then it sat on my counter for hours while i stared at it like it was gonna solve all my problems. finally decided to cut it and it turned into a slippery crime scene with juice everywhere—now i have this soggy kitchen towel and an existential crisis about how the hell i let a fruit ruin my day.
