it's not that i’m dramatic, it’s just that i found out my great aunt’s second husband was actually an underground circus juggler who did mime performances in the dark. that explains why i always feel the need to make things weirdly complicated when flirting. juggling emotions is just in my blood, apparently.

what is it with people claiming they need space while they’re out there swimming in a pool of new friendships? literally, i could take space and literally just need a pack of gummy bears to get by, but here we are. is this a space they rented for the summer or is my heart just getting upcharged on emotional airfares?
