sometimes it feels like my life is a joke played by some twisted comedian. i recently had to file my taxes and it hit me hard that i am still paying on my student loans—something like five hundred dollars a month—for a degree i never use. and then there’s my apartment. the landlord raised the rent—again—and i just don’t know how they think people are supposed to keep up. if i could turn back time, i would probably trade in the whole “higher education” for basic survival skills. my friend said money can’t buy happiness, but at this point, it would buy a damn meal that doesn’t come from the microwave. #adultingishard #unemployedandbroke
