i don’t know if anyone else feels this way, but literally watching other people thrive in their hobbies while i can barely figure out what makes me happy feels like being stuck in a never-ending rerun of a show you hate. my friends are out here taking masterclasses on pottery or rock climbing and posting perfectly curated pictures, while i just try to remember the last time i painted something that wasn’t a room in my house. it’s like i’m in an episode of life where everyone got their growth spurt and i’m still trying to grow into my old, tattered sneakers that barely fit.
