i found myself googling "how to raise a dragon" because my parents' idea of success is apparently slaying mythical creatures and impressing the neighborhood while i'm over here trying to figure out if my soul is made for anything other than existential dread. family gatherings feel like an Olympic sport where im competing against cousins who are all now nuclear physicists while i can barely remember my own password. so yeah, that’s where i'm at; contemplating a career in mythical creature management while still hoping my parents won't ask why i only have a bachelor's degree in panic attacks.
