so my toddler somehow turned the living room into a soft play death trap complete with 14 pillows, 6 stuffed animals, and a highly suspicious amount of glitter that appeared from nowhere—and when my partner finally came home i just wanted to scream, "congratulations, you have now entered the realm of chaos that is a never-ending toddler circus, grab a red nose and a unicycle!" but instead i just asked if they wanted a snack while they collapsed on the couch like a deflated balloon.
