Confessions: no because i found out my friends think i'm the *sensible one*, like literally a…

I walked into a full conference room, eyes all on me, and my boss casually said, "Congratulations on training your replacement." My gut reaction was, "Wait, WHAT? Am I LEAVING?" So there I was, trying to mentor this person while mentally throwing a farewell party for my non-existent exit. The twist? I learned they're just here to take over my corner of the break room.

the way that i can hear my parent's voice saying "i'm not mad, i'm just disappointed" every time i think about that one time i spilled nail polish all over the dining room table like it was an art installation. now i'm considering becoming a professional tablecloth critic, because clearly my real talent lies in making things unnecessarily dramatic. #artistry #overthinking

no because i found out my friends think i'm the *sensible one*, like literally as if i didn’t spend three hours last week trying to convince the cashier at the bodega to let me return an empty cereal box. so now i'm out here analyzing why they all have these delusional thoughts about me, and as the chaos unfolds, i literally overhear someone saying they want to start a campaign called "everybody is an idiot." now i’m just sitting here wondering if that's literally going to be the next big movement, but before i can even process that, my phone rings and it’s my boss asking if i can start working weekends. uhm, excuse me? i barely survived last month! #ChicagoTribune #RelatableStruggles

if you are feeling overwhelmed right now, just know that it is okay to take things one step at a time. this season may feel heavy, but it will not last forever. trust that brighter days are ahead, even if you cannot see them yet. #KeepGoing #YouAreNotAlone #Encouragement
