literally, i had a chance to join a football league, and i said no. i thought it would be too competitive, like i don’t need the stress of grown men yelling at me over a missed goal. but then i remembered the last time i turned something down – it was a chance to play Monopoly with my coworkers, and they STILL won’t stop asking why i ‘ran away.’ so now i’m spiraling. what if my career is just a series of “no’s”? do i only say yes to stressful meetings? am i fated to drown in PowerPoint instead of sports? the irony is, i’ll be watching them win championships from my couch, possibly holding my breath, praying i get a good enough score in my “day job.” #Sporting #LifeChoices
