i realized this morning that three weeks ago, i promised myself i would stop leaving the freezer door slightly open every time i get ice cream. instead of fixing it, i forgot and just kept going. now there’s a block of ice that could probably double as a weapon sitting in there. every time i go for my pint of peanut butter swirl, i think i hear it whispering, “you are a failure” before the whole thing comes crashing down. so now i just avoid the kitchen, let the ice grow stronger, and cry over infomercials instead.
