Advice: so i decided to finally try to bake bread because how hard could it be right. bu…

i once spent an entire night cooking this fancy pasta dish for a date only to realize halfway through that i had forgotten to boil the pasta so we ended up eating just the sauce with a side of embarrassment and awkward silence.

so after all the craziness of tours, I come home and realize I have no idea how to use my kitchen tools and the only thing I can really cook is ramen which is basically just water and hope, but hey at least I can still battle it out in video games, just me and my emotional baggage fighting virtual monsters instead of real ones, what a wild twist of life.

so i decided to finally try to bake bread because how hard could it be right. but now my kitchen looks like a flour bomb went off, i got dough stuck to my ceiling and the only thing rising is my sense of impending doom because how do people find joy in this chaos when my bread is just a glorified pancake.

sometimes i sit in my car at night after my shifts and watch people walk past and think how they probably have it all figured out while i just drive for strangers and wonder if anyone can see the holes in my heart from my past — the ones i tried to patch up with smiles.
