so our water’s been tasting funny and we thought it was just old pipes, but turns out it’s lead lead everywhere and now i am just SO angry because our landlord knew knew knew and did nothing until it made the news.

so i just found out my watercolor painting actually looks good and i am seriously in shock, like i was convinced it would be a complete disaster but i just kept adding layers and now i feel this weird mix of joy and disbelief, like how did that happen, it’s literally a thousand times better than i thought it would be and honestly i just cannot stop smiling.

somehow everyone thinks cutting off my parents was the wrong choice when nobody wants to talk about how they signed me up for swim lessons as a kid, then watched me drown in guilt for decades, guess the water was just too deep for them to care.
