i just found out my grandma’s old recipe actually worked when i made it last night and it turned out way better than i thought it would, like, wow, that was a huge relief because i was worried it’d taste awful and ruin the family memories. i was bracing for disappointment, but now it feels like a little piece of home is still here with me.
