i really thought that dentist appointment was going to be a nightmare. like i was bracing for the worst news and then boom, totally fine, no cavities, and i am just sitting here wondering how i got so lucky.
woke up this morning to the smell of burnt toast from last night's batch of expired bread i was too tired to throw out - made coffee and found a note in the fridge from my roommate saying he won the scratch-off again and i just sat there looking at it while calculating how many more waiting list forums i could scan before work.

so the other day at the grocery store i thought i was on mute and accidentally asked the cashier if she thought my cabbage was trying to escape or if i was just projecting - it was so quiet and everyone turned to look at me like what is wrong with this person, just wanted to disappear right then.
